Mr. Ewing has had a broad business practice for more than twenty-five years, ranging from regularly acting as outside corporate counsel to providing focused representation on mergers, acquisitions and other specific transactions. In particular, he assists clients in the acquisition and sale of business aircraft and structuring of related transactions, including FAA compliance and related state and federal tax issues. His recent aircraft transactions have included importation with related foreign deregistration and U.S. registration issues, structuring ownership, minimizing sales and use tax, fractional ownership, foreign ownership and control issues, and like kind exchanges.
